42% of adults have NEVER done this… have you

Surprisingly 46% of adults have never done this as a kid and now as an adult want to DO THIS to make up for it.

A new survey recently revealed that 42% of adults neve went on vacation as a kid, but more shockingly of that 42% of adults, 46% revealed that if they do go on vacation they want to go to Las Vegas to go "casino hopping". The second choice of vacation destinations was Washington D.C. to see the White House. I guess watching all those Lampoon Vacation videos must've had an effect on us after all.

While the survey didn't go into too much detail as to what was the cause or reason why these people never went on vacation as a kid (i.e. what they considered a proper vacation time, if it wasn't fun, or if vacationing with family is not considered a vacation) what is clear were the top 10 vacation destinations that they voted on.

TOP 10 MUST DO VACATION DESTINATIONS

1. Casino Hopping in Las Vegas 46%

2. Touring the White House and other tourist cites in Washington D.C. 45%

3. Seeing the Grand Canyon in Arizona 42%

4. Seeing Mount Rushmore in South Dakota 38%

5. Visiting Disney World 36%

6. Visiting a volcano in Hawaii 29%

7. Touring Times Square in New York 28%

8. Exploring the Greek Islands 19%

9. Visiting the Great Pyramid of Giza 17%

10. Swimming with pigs in the Bahamas 17%

The survey did conclude that nostalgia does play a big part in what was the deciding factors in vacations and these destinations. The survey also found that people found planning for a vacation is very stress inducing and more people opt in for an all inclusive vacation package for the convenience.
