We've heard it a thousand times before, the best deals are the Black Friday deals, but with all the headache that accompanies these so called deals it makes us wonder, are they really the best deals?

It's the holiday season... so whoopty do and we all know how the rest of the song goes. What you weren't expecting is being told there are 5 DON'Ts to Black Friday Shopping, and they are as followed:

1. Don't Impulse Buy

Don't impulse buy on the spot because the sales person is SELLING you just okay products. Just because the product looks hot and trendy doesn't mean it will have longevity in your life. Think about the quality of the product you want, is it really worth it to take a shortcut?

2. Don't Buy Lame Items

Don't buy products where the deal seems like it's too good to be true and then you end up with a bad or faulty product. You think you found the deal of a lifetime on that new stove, but it turns out to be a total dud, that's an even worse burn than your old stove. Research your products and research the deals.

3. Don't Wait Too Long

Don't wait forever to buy something you want or need this holiday season. Now more than ever with COVID-19 companies are adjusting to a new sense of normal that seems to be changing almost daily. As a shopper you can be fighting limited stock and high demand depending on the product. Strategize what items can wait for the Black Friday pricing, and what you should buy ahead of time. You might even want to ask a stores about their money back guarantee if you buy the product then find a better deal for it later.

4. Don't Forget Your Coupons

Prices are higher than ever due to COVID-19. Be a smart shopper and use coupons, and we're not talking about cutting up the newspaper at grandma's house either. If you're not sure where to find great deals or coupons do some research on your favorite stores to see what options are available. In this day in age couponing has been made easy.

5. Don't Hand Over Your Personal Information

Don't be so trusting of the stores or vendors you are working with for this amazing deal. This is the time of year scammers are waiting in the dark corner of the digital world to steal your information. We suggest you take advantage of using a touchless pay system. Not only is this going to save you time at the register, but it adds an extra level of protection to your personal data.
