This week on, OPWJS's Law and Legal with CK Hoffler, Juandolyn was joined by attorney Gerald Griggs and the Founder of Black Votes Matter, LaTosha Brown. Juandolyn and CK discussed the Derek Chauvin trial in which he is on trial for the murder of George Floyd on Memorial Day 2020 in Minneapolis, MN.

Hoffler believes the mass media's reference to this as the George Floyd trial is a deliberate misnomer to confuse the public and vilify Floyd. She insists this boils down to the fact that Black people do not have any rights and police reform is desperately needed.

Griggs, the attorney for Representative Park Cannon said she is shaken, but resolved to continue to fight for the rights of Georgians. Brown said Black people make the Constitution real [which is needed] because as Brown says, "Trump normalized White supremacy."
