Juandolyn Stokes of On Point with Juandolyn Stokes and Law and Legal Co-host C.K. Hoffler are joined by the Super Lawyers to discuss Police Brutality: Global Pandemic Capturing International Community.

This week on OPWJS, Law and Legal with CK Hoffler, Juandolyn was joined by attorney's, Julie Wenah and Latif Oduola Owoo who discussed Police Brutality: Global Pandemic Capturing International Community. Owoo highlighted how what happens [police brutality] in the U.S, reverberates around the world and influences outcomes in other countries such as Nigeria.
He added that people in power use the police as a tool to keep people in check, a practice that too often leads to deadly outcomes. Additionally, the team discussed women's rights in the U.S. and internationally and how those rights are the impacted everywhere including equity in leadership, standards of beauty and trans women's challenges. This show covered several additional topics including the Black family, contributions of Black people, and the importance of learning from each other in the diaspora.
