Recently on, OPWJS, Juandolyn was joined by Ethical Hacker and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Raxis, Brian Tant to discuss cyber security, which has been brought to the forefront after the ransom hack on Colonial Pipeline.


While Tant breaks into systems, hacks their information and steals it, he does it on behalf of Raxis customers to help them develop stronger cyber secure systems; He finds flaws to help customers. Tant says our personal information is as vulnerable as our country's infrastructure due several factors, but most important is password security.


Tant encourages us to create stronger passwords to decrease information accessibility. He also discourages us from re-using the same passwords on multiple accounts. Cyber security covers many facets of our lives including our civil liberties, which can be compromised when we use such things as smart speakers.
