Real Estate 101 with Mary Gill, drops some real estate vocab you need to know. She shares the exact definition of redlining and how it can affect you. Mary shares she recently experienced redlining with one of her clients on a large purchase.


So what is redlining? It's when insurance companies - specifically agents that write a client's policy (typically African Americans or minorities) and try to write in ways or find issues with the client to drop them from the policy. Mary shares that losing insurance on your home is a huge hit on your mortgage payments.
