Find out why pancake enthusiasts are wondering if there are three holidays dedicated to the delicious and versatile breakfast food.

Pancake critics around the world agree National Pancake Day has always fallen on Fat Tuesday... A.K.A today, but for some odd reason IHOP decided to celebrate National Pancake Day next Tuesday, so it's looking like 2023 is the year of the pan... pancake.
National Pancake day has always fallen on Fat Tuesday, which is the day before Lent starts (a tradition people celebrate all over the world to fast or give up a vice for about a month). According to CNN pancakes on Fat Tuesday is a tradition that goes back 1,400 years and yet the chain pancake restaurant doesn't seem to care.
For many years now Pancake connoisseurs have celebrated the delicious meal on both Fat Tuesday and in September, IHOP only acknowledged the National Pancake Day on Fat Tuesday. IHOP would celebrate the day with a free short stack, so why the sudden change in making a new day? IHOP has yet to release a statement as to if this was an honest mistake or they are adding a new holiday to the calendar... I don't know about you, but I'm always down to get my pancake on!
